Customized Training

Developing the ideal training for our clients

Throughout our experience in the field, we have acknowledged that large conferences and seminars are not always the best solution to transmit our knowledge and expertise. While it is certainly important to constantly engage in formations for the better learning experience, we at GcilA are convinced that sometimes individual and customized training can be the better response to our clients’ needs, doubts and questions. As such, the team at GcilA strongly encourages the development of customized training based on the specific needs and requirements of our clients in order to satisfy the client’s requests for a better understanding of underlying issues to different sectors. Customized training and workshops further enable us to envisage modules and management of large construction and infrastructure projects, as well as claims, disputes and litigation.

In the past, GcilA has already developed several customized training sessions for national and international clients within the public and private sectors, often collaborating with institutions of different nature in order to provide the ideal program for our clients. In more detail, the GcilA member firms have held specialized and customized training for the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the European Union, the World Bank, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and others. During the training we provide our clients with the knowledge and experience that they are looking for to widen their understanding on a certain topic but also with practical and handy guides that they can make use of on a daily basis.

It is our belief that through customized training and workshops it is easier and more effective to transmit notions and experience specific to our clients’ needs and questions. While a general covering of topics in the infrastructure, construction, securities, litigation world is adapted for introducing our clients to the very notions of these areas, it is our understanding that to improve and enrich our clients’ expertise in the desired area, individual and customized seminars and training are more successful and appropriate.

Regarding the specific topics of our customized training, our major sectors cover:

  • Contract Modules
  • Claims and Disputes Modules
  • Dispute Adjudication
  • Management of Services
  • National and International Procurement Modules
  • PPPs & Concessions
  • Litigation

In order to best accommodate our clients’ needs for customized trainings, we believe that involving our clients in a responsive and proactive conversation is the path to success and satisfaction. As such, our team believes that it is through lectures as well as questions and answers that we engage our clients to retain the most out of our seminars. In a nutshell, the interaction between our clients and our legal team is at the heart of our activity.

Given the complexity of some of the topics, we are always welcome to discuss and engage with the clients first before structuring and planning in a responsive way a customized training. Thus, we invite interested clients and non-clients to contact us for more specifics about the particular service of customized training that we offer.
