FIDIC Cornerstone Seminar: Understanding DABs
10.03.2015 – 11.03.2015
Eastern and Central Europe have been a crucible for FIDIC Dispute Boards for many years now. Several government agencies in the region adopted modified forms of FIDIC for their construction projects and many more use FIDIC contracts on projects where European funding is involved. This has meant the use of Dispute Boards is relatively high in the region. As most of you know the high usage of Boards has also brought implementation challenges and the Region is on the leading edge of jurisprudence on many burning issues.
The seminar will be presented by Edward Corbett, Aisha Nadar, GcilA’s James Perry (Past President Region 2), Leo Grutters and Taner Dedezade. The seminar is dedicated to the FIDIC DAB process and issues and will be one of a rare opportunity to attend a public “Module 3” FIDIC seminar. – more information
