James Perry – lawyer and engineer makes for a true expert partner

James Perry is a US attorney (District of Columbia Bar) and he also has a degree in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University, ultimately making him a unique specialist for the sector of construction and infrastructure. He is working together with his partner Geoffrey Smith for the law firm PS Consulting, which they founded together in 2003. In his early years, James Perry offered a wide range of services including international construction contracts negotiation, claims management, acting as an expert witness, and others. In recent years he has specialized in dispute resolution and arbitration, where he not only provides a variety of clients all over the world with expert advice and support, but he also offers successful training programs and seminars for companies and individuals all over the world.

James Perry is also an accredited member and trainer of The International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) and he further serves as the President-Elect of the Executive Board within the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF) where he is able to apply his expertise in dispute management and resolution as well as take advantage of his expertise as an experienced engineer.

His knowledge and experience within these domains takes him across the world. Together with his partner, James Perry has worked in over 40 countries on 6 continents, continuously adding to his elaborate portfolio. With high profile cases and projects such as the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia or a mass-housing project in Caracas, Venezuela, James Perry has established himself as one of the top lawyers in dispute resolution, arbitration, and contract negotiation and procurement.
