Besides his expertise in civil engineering, law and accounting & finance, Geoffrey is a recognized expert in mediation and dispute resolution. Geoffrey Smith and his partner James Perry have been consulted numerous times in order to offer their legal services to large contractors and companies and to represent them during complex arbitration cases.

In recent years, Geoffrey Smith has also been incredibly active as an accredited member and trainer of The International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), where he regularly provides companies and other clients with in-depth training programs and seminars covering topics such as dispute resolution, contract management, procurement and dispute adjunction boards. He is also known to have customized workshops for a variety of companies. Geoffrey is especially experienced in Japan and countries in South-East Asia, where he has worked with Japan International Cooperation Agency, Asian Development Bank and others.

Three degrees, a double-linguistic background in English and French and extensive portfolio of projects in over 40 countries around the world, ultimately make Geoffrey Smith the go-to expert for construction, infrastructure and energy projects.
